I know you guys have been waiting for this new Too Faced White Peach Palette to drop! If you’re anything like me, you LOVE a new fresh eyeshadow palette. This one is fresh – and I mean REALLY fresh! If you’re familiar with Too Faced, their palettes have a distinct aroma and of course, this one falls true to the palette name and is infused with peach and sweet fig cream. I don’t know what that means but it smells divine! Come on let’s swatch this baby!
Upon opening the packaging which resembles an evening bag, I am overtaken by the peach scent which is rather pleasant.
As I started swatching the shades, I notice they are very light. Full disclosure: looking at some of the Sephora reviews, I have been noticing that many feel this palette is chalky. I definitely do not agree. The White Peach Palette focusses on Spring 2018 colours. The shades are SO lovely and light, they are what we like to say: buildable.
The colours that appear the lightest are: Peach Cream, Peach Smoothie and Peach Ice. I identify these as the less pigmented colours which will allow you to overlay and blend them within the stronger colours for an even peach-ier look! They are very fair colours and I suggest you use a primer before applying these shadows so the lighter colours really stick.
You also may have noticed that there are two darker colours in the bottom right hand of the White Peach Palette: Peach Passion and On the Grill are meant as bolder staples and perfect for acting as soft crease liners for the inner eye as well as the bottom lid. At first, I was confused by the Peach Passion colour because I thought it was a bit random based on the peach spectrum. However, taking a closer look I have never seen a palette so beautiful as the White Peach Palette and I realized that this indigo shimmer colour was an act of genius on Too Faced’s part.
One of my favourite shades in the White Peach Palette are: Sweet Fig and Peach Suede. I’m a sucker for neutrals and I think I will be the one to pan these shades first. They also tell the story of light, airy and free. These words describe the look I’m going for Spring 2018 and there will be so many more posts to come.
I was so excited to swatch these colours for you. So here’s the image of the swatches without the colour names:
If you are a fan of the other peach palettes by Too Faced which are: Sweet Peach Palette and the Just Peachy Velvet Matte which are two staples, you may find the White Peach Palette something that you just have to add to your Peachy collection!
You can buy the Too Faced White Peach Palette from Sephora (of course!) and don’t forget to pick up any other sweet peachy treats by Too Faced!
