The Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is one that I tried in the mini version and loved it so much I upgraded to the larger size.
Sometimes, our skin needs a bit more moisture and the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask gives your skin a drink of water while you’re sleeping!
At first, I was worried about how this mask would cling to my skin and if I would have any residue left on my pillow. Read the review and find out why that’s not the case.
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Benefits
The benefits of the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask are twofold:
1. It contains Hydro Ioninzed Mineral Water with minerals such as: zinc, sodium, maganese, magnesium, potassium and calcium. All of these minerals provide natural hydrating factors that all work naturally to keep moisture locked in.
2. Calming Sleep scent – Trade marked by Laneige, the calming sleep scent includes orange, rose and sandalwood extracts for a peaceful rest while you wear the mask.
The end result of all of these ingredients is what Laneige likes to call a “Moisture Wrap”. This means that there’s an 8 hour release of moisture into the skin – hence the name: sleeping mask!
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Application
The Laneige Water Sleeping Mask goes on right after you freshly cleanse your face. You don’t have to use other Laneige products but I do love the multi-cleanser (read the review of the Laneige Multi-Cleanser here).
Once you cleanse, you literally just use the applicator or your finger to apply a moderate layer of the product onto your face. You’ll notice the product will seep in rather quickly and may feel a bit sticky to touch! Don’t worry – that’s just the product seeping into your skin.
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Results
I’ve been using the Water Sleeping Mask for a few months now and I will tell you that every time I STOP using it, my skin looks dull. That being said, when you DO use it – your skin will have a glass-like effect. If you’re into Korean beauty and don’t want to go through 10 steps to get the glass skin look – using the Water Sleeping Mask after cleansing can get you the similar effect.
Let me know what you think of this reivew of the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. I’ve been pretty impressed with Laneige products in the last few months, especially the Lip Sleeping Mask (read the review here).
If you’ve used this product let me know what you think!
