If you’re looking for the perfect nude, look no further than Bite Beauty French Press Gloss in Flat White. Not only is this the perfect shade of nude but the formula of this gloss is perfect!
I’ve always been one to search for the perfect nude lip gloss for my pink undertones. Also, it’s really hard to find lip gloss that isn’t sticky! I was skeptical about this gloss at first but then I read a few reviews and realized I should try it.
In fact, Bite Beauty released an entire line of lip glosses inspired by the thing I love the most: COFFEE! There are a few different colours in the French Press Gloss set but ultimately, Flat White is my favourite.
The Bite Beauty French Press Gloss Collection
Here are all of the colours in the Bite Beauty French Press Gloss Collection. You’ll find they all have a similar theme and colour range. Everything is very creamy and inviting – like you’re taking a long sip of your latte on a cool winter day!
Flat White is a pinky nude colour that flatters almost all skint ones. One of the things I love about this gloss so much is that it’s creamy – kind of like sipping a flat white (I’m drinking a Venti Flat White right now!). There is also a subtle hint of the scent of a latte – not as strong of a coffee sent but there is a distinct coffee sense there. Also, these glosses aren’t too big but I find that they fit into my purse really well. To be honest, I haven’t even finished a gloss by myself anyway.
The applicator is also bent in a way that makes it easy to apply to your lips as I’m always trying to apply lip gloss as I’m running out the door!
Here are the other lip gloss colours in the Bite Beauty French Press Collection:
Vanilla latte has a bit of a creamier vibe to it. It’s a bit on the caramel side and has a warmer hue than Flat White. However, this still does the trick of finding the perfect nude because it still has a hint of colour to it.
Salted Caramel has a deeper tone than the Vanilla Latte in the French Press Lip Gloss collection. If you’re looking for more of a toffee vibe then you’ll want to check out this colour. It comes out as more of a burnt orange colour also if you’re looking for that – it’s quite subtle on the lips too!
Dirty Chai is described as a terracotta rose inspired colour. I would say this is a perfect fall nude gloss with a hint of brown undertones. Again, since the formula is creamy you’re not going to get such a strong pigment so this could be the perfect deep nude in a gloss that you’ve been searching for.
It wouldn’t be a French Press Collection if you didn’t include the one colour that does it all: Black Coffee! This shade is described as a deep plum brown. You know those deep mauve colours that look great in the winter? This one is for you! On a cold fall day, I would wear minimal makeup and throw this in my purse for a deep fall vibe.
Should you buy the Bite Beauty French Press Gloss Collection?
In my opinion, the cost for one of the Bite Beauty Lip Gloss is relatively on par compared to higher end lip gloss. That being said, my favourite is still Flat White and I have really pale skin. You may even consider layering two colours together to get a really creamy look. The goal of these lip glosses is to get an effortless and comfortable look that you can continue to apply throughout the day.
The glosses also give your lips a plumping effect because they are more of a tinted gloss so you’re not getting a totally defined look.
I’m terrible with reapplying my lip gloss and feel that I look forward to putting on Flat White whenever it goes with my look which is pretty much all of the time!
Let me know if you’ll consider purchasing any of the colours in the Bite Beauty French Press Gloss Collection!
